Introducing The Cannabis Summit

The Cannabis Summit was created to demonstrate why Ireland is an ideal investment location for North American companies looking to enter the emerging European cannabis market. Ireland is the preferred European hub for household names in the North American tech and pharmaceutical sectors due to its competitive corporate tax rates, favorable business climate, legal system, and highly educated workforce.

Over the last decade the cannabis industry has grown substantially with an increasing number of jurisdictions regulating cannabis for industrial, medical and adult use. Within the next eighteen months, several member states within the European Union and wider European Economic Area will open their domestic markets to cannabis regulation most notably Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic to begin with. Ireland is likely to follow suit. The Cannabis Summit brings together thought-leaders and industry experts to share their insights and experience about future developments in this fast emerging market.
