The Largest & Longest Running Cannabis and Hemp Convention in the Northeast
Since it’s humble beginning in 2014 before the Mass medical cannabis program was up and running and recreational cannabis was still just a dream, the New England Cannabis Convention has grown into the 2nd largest B2B cannabis industry event in the country! A vital hub of resources and communication for businesses, entrepreneurs, cultivators, advocates, patients, investors, educators, and consumers alike that NECANN has proudly provided to local cannabis communities throughout the northeast and beyond!
Each of our conventions is individually tailored to the needs of local markets and their opportunities for growth. We’re unique in the fact that we don’t lay in wait for cannabis sales and use to be normalized in an area before setting up a convention. We go to communities with potential to thrive within the industry and join them in the fight to normalize the community. Our mission, our values, and our unceasing dedication to cannabis and the people it helps are what have made NECANN what it is today. We could not be more grateful for everyone that has joined us along the way.
Our 7th Annual Maine Cannabis Convention
The road to marijuana normalization in Maine has been one of changing legislation, delayed results, and constant battle. victory. Although the people voted to legalize recreational sales in in 2016, it took until October 2020 before dispensaries actually began recreational sales. Although the medicinal community has flourished during this time with the help of local caregivers, the process has been frustrating to say the least. NECANN is proud to have been part of the effort in Maine since 2015, and are happy to be back this year as a part of the local cannabis community’s continued growth.
