Melanie Wentzel is a global thinker and passionate storyteller, seeking the knowledge of those who came before her and applying it through evidence-based frameworks to drive quality improvement, and the delivery of innovative and emerging models of care.

Melanie’s energy and innate ability to connect and educate cannot be confined to one continent. She is a collector of stories and a storyteller. Melanie Wentzel has captured the journey, spirit and sisterhood of women across the globe in the pages of Cannabis Queens. 

Cannabis Queens has given women in all aspects of cannabis a platform to authentically share their experiences. Melanie has carefully crafted their words into a book that reflects each woman’s compassion and commitment to the healing properties of the plant. Over two hundred women in the cannabis space were instructmental in the creation of Cannabis Queens through interviews and participating in a survey. The survey results are included in the book and provide an overview of women in cannabis across the globe.

Melanie’s literary publications include ‘A Love Letter to Women in Business’, ‘Cannabis Queens’, and a suite of peer-reviewed publications in the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA). She is an experienced conference speaker, panelist and podcast guest, and is a member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM), Americans for Safe Access (ASA), and US Women’s Cannabis Chamber of Commerce.
